This small tree has a smooth greyish trunk with ascending spreading branches that from a compact rounded crown. It has shiny mid-green leaves and the small star-shaped yellowish flowers appear in the summer followed by rounded fruit.

The Scented Acronychia is grown for its attractive foliage and habit. It is planted in coastal gardens along borders or used in rainforest settings.
