This mallee to small tree has a solitary or multiple trunks that are rough at the base and spreading smooth branches that form a round crown. It has dull green leathery lance-shaped leaves and the creamy white flowers appear in a cluster from winter to spring.

Eucalyptus dwyeriis naturally found in Australia from a New South Wales to Victoria growing inland on the western to the central western slopes and the North Western Plains in sclerophyll mallee shrubland to an altitude of 1,000 m (3,280 ft).
It prefers an open a sunny position and grows in well drained moderately fertile to poor shallow sandy-stony soils that are tending acidic with a pH range of 5.5 to 6.4 and is frost and drought tolerant.
Dwyer's Mallee Gum is grown for its flowers and its drought hardiness. It is not commonly cultivated in urban gardens but is used along borders for screening or attracting birds. It is also planted in woodland settings or on farms. It is suitable to inland and low mountain regions and establishes in 2-4 years and is moderately long-lived. ID 3481
