This small shrub has short stem with low spreading branches that form a compact rounded habit and the new growth is densely pubescent. It has a grey green oblong leaves and the greenish yellow tube shaped flowers appeared singularly during spring.

Eremophila subfloccosais naturally found in Australia from the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia to semi-arid regions in south-west Western Australia, inland from Esperance grown around the margins of salt lakes or on undulating plains and along disturbed road sides.
It prefers an open to exposed sunny position and grows in well-drained, poor sandy gravelly soil to clay loam. It is drought, salt and light frost tolerant but dislikes humid summers preferring a Mediterranean climate.
The Dense-felted Eremophila is grown for its spreading habit and attractive greyish foliage. It is planted in small or native gardens as a low border or ground cover and used in sunny rockeries. It is also used in arid gardens and when young it is planted in tubs or planter boxes. It is suitable for coastal and inland regions and establishes in 2-3 years and is moderately long-lived. ID 3311
