This shrub has many upright spreading branches that form a compact bushy habit. It has glossy green oblong leaves and small white tube-shaped flowers appear in an upright raceme during summer.

It prefers a well drained organic rich moist fertile soil but will tolerate poor soil types and grows in an open sunny position and is drought and light frost tolerant.
This hebe is grown for its bushy habit and white flowers. It is planted in small gardens along borders or used in patio pots and planter boxes. It is suitable for coastal regions and establishes in 2-3 years and is moderately long lived. It is not commonly cultivated and may be difficult to obtain requiring a specialist nursery. ID 3257
