This shrub has lax spreading branching with obvious leaf scars on the branchlets and forms a rounded habit. It has dark green leathery elliptical leaves and the small tube-shape white flowers appear in a cluster amongst the foliage during summer.

This hebe is grown for its compact habit and white flowers. It is planted in small gardens along borders or used in patio pots or planter boxes. It is suitable for coastal regions and establishes in 2-3 years and is moderately long lived.
