This shrub has upright spreading woody stems that form a rounded bushy habit. It has dark green needle-like leaves and the pinkish white tube-shape flowers appear in a rounded cluster terminally or along the branches during spring.

Grevillea bracteosais naturally found in south-western Western Australia from north-east Geraldton to Mogumber and currently has a conservation status of not threatened. It grows in shrubland amongst small trees on the coast and inland.

It prefers a granite based sandy well drained moderately fertile soil that is acidic, tending neutral in an open sunny position tolerating frost and drought but dislikes tropical climates.

Bracted Grevillea is grown for its rounded bushy habit and flowers. It is planted along garden borders as a low screen or used as a specimen in small gardens. It is suitable for coastal and inland regions establishing in 2 to 3 years and is moderately long lived. The flowers may also be used in floral arrangements and has been successfully cultivated on the eastern coast from Queensland to Victoria tolerating dry conditions. ID 3170
