This rare shrub has a slender woody stems and forms an erect to prostrate habit. It has divided leaves with dark green pungent needle-like lobes and the red tube-shape flowers appear in a cluster at the end of the branches during spring.

Maxwell's Grevillea is grown for its spreading habit and flowers. It is planted in rockeries or on embankments and is an ideal tub or planter box specimen. It is suitable for inland regions and establishes in 2 to 3 years and is moderately long lived. This is a rare and endangered species is not commonly cultivated and may be difficult to obtain requiring a specialist nursery. ID 3164
