This shrub has upright slender branched stems that form an open habit. It has soft-textured dark green pine-like leaves and white wheel-shaped male and female flowers appear in terminal clusters above the foliage during spring.

Ricinocarpos pinifoliusis naturally found in Australia from Queensland to New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania growing on old dunes and the adjoining open forests along the coast and in the lower mountains. It prefers a very well drained sandy soil that is tending acidic and grows in a sunny to semi shaded position, tolerating drought and frost.
The Wedding Bush is grown for its profuse flowers and is planted in small coastal gardens or bushland settings. It establishes from a pot in 1 to 2 years and is suitable for coastal and adjoining lower mountains. It may also be grown in containers or planted in courtyard areas.ID 3013
