This shrub has upright branched stems that forms a bushy habit with narrow-oblong dull green leaves. The bright-yellow pea-shaped flowers appear in a dense cluster during spring and are followed by woody pods.

Pultenaea flexilisis naturally found in Australia from south-east Queensland to southern New South Wales growing along the coast and in the adjoining tablelands, extending to the central western slopes growing in open forests and along shaded gullies.

It prefers a well drained sandy-stony soil in an open sunny to protected semi shaded position and is drought and frost tolerant.

The Graceful Bush-pea is grown for its flowers and its upright bushy habit. It is planted along borders or used in gully settings in bushland gardens.
