This tree has a flaky pale grey trunk and ascending branches that form a rounded crown. It has dark green divided leaves and the white trumpet-shaped flowers appear in small clusters towards the end of the branches during summer.

Tabebuia pallidais naturally found in the West Indies growing in woodlands and forests in well drained dry rocky soils. It tolerates a variety of moderately fertile soil from calcareous to sandy and saline conditions. It prefers an open sunny position and is drought tolerant.

White Tabebuia is grown for its flowers and its rounded habit. It is planted in parks and gardens as a shade tree or used in coastal forest settings. It establishes in 2 to 4 years and is long lived. It is also grown in tropical gardens as a specimen but may be difficult to obtain. ID 2959
