This shrub to small tree has upright spreading branches that form a rounded crown. It has glossy dark green oblong leaves and the fragrant white tube-shaped flowers appear directly from the branches or trunk in clusters during late spring.

Scented Daphne is grown for its glossy foliage and its fragrant flowers. It is planted in sub-tropical gardens or rainforest settings along borders for screening or as a specimen. It establishes in 3 to 4 years and is suitable for coastal and low-mountain regions. ID 2956
