This upright shrub has a short light brown trunk with spreading branches that form a rounded habit. It has dark bronze green oblong leaves and the white wheel-shaped flowers appear singularly along the stems throughout summer.

It prefers a well drained moderately fertile sandy soil in an open sunny position on the coast or inland and is frost and drought tolerant.

This tea tree is grown for its colourful foliage and rounded habit. It is planted in medium-size gardens along borders for screening or used in new gardens as a quick-filler. It is suitable for coastal and inland regions establishing in 2-3 years and is moderately long lived. ID 2589
