This small shrub has smooth grey woody stems that form an open spreading shrub. It has narrow dark green cylindrical-like leaves and the small yellow star-shaped flowers appear in a dense cluster during spring.

It prefers a well drained moderately fertile soil in an open sunny position and is moderately frost and drought tolerant.
The Narrow-leaf Phebalium is grown for its flowers and is planted in small gardens and rockeries as a specimen. It is suitable for inland regions, establishing in 2 to 3 years and is planted in containers or in woodland gardens. ID 2480
