This shrub is upright with spreading branches that form a rounded outline. It has narrow grey green leaves that are stiff and the small yellowish tube-shaped flowers, with a prominent red style appear in a raceme during early spring.

This Grevillea is grown for its flowers and habit. It is planted in small gardens or parks as a specimen or for screening in group plantings. It is suitable for coastal or inland regions in beach settings, establishing in 2 to 3 years.
