This mallee or small tree has slender whitish smooth trunks that are rough at the base and spreading branches that form a rounded crown. It has dark green broad lanced-shaped leaves and the greenish flowers appear in clusters from spring to summer.

Eucalyptus behrianais naturally found in Australia from Kangaroo Island and Eyre Peninsula in South Australia to western Victoria and New South Wales growing in open bushland.

It prefers a well drained light to medium soil in an open sunny position and is drought and frost tolerant.

The Broad-leaved Mallee Box is grown for its habit and is planted in parks, large gardens and in woodland settings as a specimen or in group plantings as a windbreak. It is also used for shade and is suitable for costal and inland regions establishing in 2 to 4 years. ID 2356
