This small shrub has upright slender branches that form a compact rounded habit. It has mid green linear leaves and the small ball-shaped yellow flowers appear towards the end of the branches from winter to spring.

Acacia tindaleaeis naturally found in Australia growing on the north-western slopes of New South Wales in well drained, moderately fertile light soils in an open sunny position and is light frost and drought resistant.
The Golden-top Wattle is grown for its flowers and its compact habit. It is planted in inland gardens as a specimen or in rock gardens, woodland settings and as a low border. It is suitable sub-tropical regions establishing in 2 to 3 years and is excellent colour for a new garden. ID 2344
