This small fan palm has a solitary rough-ringed trunk up to 250mm (10in) in diameter. The grey green wedge-shaped fronds are undulating and form a dense rounded crown. The clusters of small yellowish cup-shaped flowers appear in summer.

Pritchardia hillebrandiiis naturally found on the Hawaiian Island of Molokai, growing in rainforests in well drained organic rich, moist soils in a semi shaded humid position with wind, frost and drought protection.
The Loulu Palm is grown for its attractive tropical appearance and is planted along water courses or in shady borders in a tropical setting. It is suitable for coastal or mountainous regions and establishes in 4 to 7 years. It is used when young in pots as an entrance plant or in bright conservatories. ID 2294
Note:
It is commonly found growing along water courses and tolerates some coastal exposure though it is rarely seen in its native environment.
