This shrub is upright and bushy with intricate slender reddish stems that form a spreading rounded habit. It has needle-like, light green angular leaflets and the tiny white tube-shaped flowers appear in clusters from winter to spring.

It grows in well drained, low fertile sandy to granite based gravelly loams in an open sunny position and tolerates drought or high temperatures and light frost.

This Grevillea is grown for its flowers and its angular foliage. It is planted in shrub borders or group plantings and is used as a pedestrian or intruder barrier. It is suitable for coastal or inland regions establishing in 2 to 3 years and is an excellent bird haven. ID 2262
