It prefers moist moderately fertile soils that is well drained in a sunny open position and is drought tender but mildly frost resistant
White Mahogany is grown for its timber and habit. It is planted in forest settings or parks as a lawn specimen for shade. It is unsuitable for a domestic garden and establishes in 3 to 5 years. It is suitable for coastal regions preferring a humid atmosphere.ID 1862
Note:
The timber is strong with a fine textured interlocking grain, durable and relatively termite resistant. It is used for poles or railway sleepers and as general construction material for houses or wharfs.
