This vigorous semi evergreen shrub has an upright rounded bushy habit with slightly pubescent stems. It has dark green rounded leaves and produces bright yellow saucer-shaped flowers from late spring to summer.

It prefers a well drained moderately fertile dry soils in a open sunny position and is frost and cold dry wind tender but drought tolerant.
