This shrub has trailing woody stems that form a dense prostrate habit. It has divided grey green leaves with needle-like leaflets and the bright red tube-shaped flowers appear in sprays from autumn to spring.

Grevillea humifusais naturally found in Western Australia growing in scrubland on the coast and inland.

It prefers an open to exposed sunny position and grows in very well drained poor sandy gravelly soil that is tending acidic and is drought and light frost tolerant.

The Spider Net Grevillea is grown for its habit and flowers. It is planted in small gardens as a spillover or ground cover and in rockeries. It establishes in 2 to 3 years and is suitable for coastal regions. It is also grown in roof gardens or containers and is excellent winter colour. ID 1360
