This perennial has many slender spreading stems that form a rounded clump. It has lobed lanced-shaped mid green leaves and the profuse daisy-like yellow flowers appear during summer and are held above the foliage on a slender stem.

Anthemis tinctoria is naturally found from Europe to Turkey and Iran growing in well drained moderately fertile moist light soils in an open sunny position and is frost resistant but drought tender.
Golden Marguerite is grown for its long flowering period and is planted along garden borders or as a specimen and as a container plant.
