This rhizomatous perennial herb has upright foliage and forms a clump. It has long upright-spreading linear mid green leaves and the white star-shaped flowers appear in a terminal cluster from late spring to early summer.

This attractive small clumping perennial is grown for its flowers and clumping habit. It is planted along front garden borders or is used in patio pots and planter boxes.
