This perennial herb has slender pubescent stems that are branched towards the top and has a spreading habit. It has grey-green lanced-shaped hairy leaves and the bell-shaped yellow flowers appear in loose clusters during early summer.

Helichrysum ramosissimumis naturally found on the east coast of Australia from south-eastern Queensland to northern New South Wales growing in well drained moderately fertile soils. It prefers a open sunny position and is drought tolerant but heavy frost tender.

The Small Clustered Everlasting is a free flowering perennial that is used in mass plantings or naturalising in parks and large gardens or used for bedding displays. It is also grown in pots and tubs for quick colour. It establishes in one season and has a long flowering period and dwarf forms are found in coastal sites. ID 1204
