Tanacetum partheniumis naturally found from Europe to the Caucasus growing on well drained, fertile moist light soils in an open sunny position and is frost and drought resistant.

Feverfew has been used since Roman times as a remedy for many different types of fevers, arthritis, nervousness, hysteria and low sprits.
Both the leaves and flower may be made into a tea that relieves migraine or treatment of colds. When planted around the house it will repel insects and a balm is made from the plant to sooth insect bites. It is suitable for perennial borders in small or cottage gardens. ID 1179
