This shrub has upright spreading woody branches that form a rounded habit. It has small oblong silvery-green leaves and the bright red cup-shaped flowers appear in a terminal spike during spring.

Granite Kunzea is a very attractive shrub that is grown as a specimen in small or native gardens or planted along borders for screening or attracting birds. It can also be planted in planter-boxes and is suitable for coastal and inland regions.
