This shrub has slender angular stems that form a rounded habit. It has small rounded to elliptical dark green leaves and has bright pink star-shaped flowers appear from summer to autumn towards the end of the branchlets.

Crowea salignais naturally found on the east coast of Australia in New South Wales near the Sydney district growing on the coast and in the central tablelands in protected forests.

It grows in well drained moderately fertile sandy-rocky soils in a shade to semi-shaded protected position and is frost and drought resistant.

This rounded shrub is grown for its flowers. It is planted as a specimen in garden beds or in the understorey of a bushland setting. It is also used in patio pots and planter boxes and as a spill-over above retaining walls. It establishes from in 2 to 3 years requiring very well drained soils and is moderately long lived. ID 987
