This vigorous large shrub to small tree has an upright habit with spreading branches that form a rounded crown. It has oblong mid-green leaves and the white fragrant trumpet-shaped flowers appear in a cluster during summer.

Luculia is an attractive shrub that is grown for its fragrant flowers and habit. It is planted in parks and gardens as a specimen or in mixed shrub borders, tolerating semi shade. It is suitable for small or cottage gardens and has a fast growth rate establishing in 2-4 years. It is an excellent fragrant shrub but may be difficult to grow.ID 960
