This compact shrub is erect with many branches that have silky hairs and forms a rounded habit. It has bright green linear leaves and the white to pink lipped flowers appear in a raceme from spring to summer.

It prefers a well drained moderately fertile sandy to clay soil in an open sunny to a protected semi shaded position and is frost and drought resistant.
