This small annual has an erect and slender stems and forms a rosette. It has divided leaves with mid-green leaflets and the small white cup-shaped flowers appear in a raceme fom spring to summer.

Cardamine hirsuta is naturally found in the northern temperate regions growing in disturbed soils or wastlands. It prefers a well drained moderatly fertile moist light soil in a semi shaded to open sunny position and is frost and drought tender.
Flick Weed is not normally cultivated as an ornamental but commonly regarded as a weed that invades potted plants or disturbed land and is spread by seed. It is a common weed in nursery stock and prefers moist shaded positions.ID 849
Note:
It is controlled by physical removal of the plant and roots but requires follow up as seeds germinate after disturbance.
