Grevillea flexuosa is naturally found in Western Australia growing around Stoneville near Perth in low heath. It prefers a well drained acidic sandy gravelly soil in an open sunny position with hot dry summers and is mildly frost and drought tolerant.
The Zig Zag Grevillea is grown for its foliage and flowers. It is planted in rockeries or along borders for foliage contrast and is used in tubs or planter boxes. It is fast growing and establishes in 2 to 3 years and is moderately long lived. Its sharp foliage creates an ideal bird haven and grafted plants should be used in the humid eastern states. ID 529
