This vigorous evergreen twining climber has smooth green to grey stems that become matted and form a dense cover. The divided leaves have dark green leaflets and the fragrant white trumpet-shaped flowers appear in a cluster during spring.

Pink Jasmine is grown for its flowers and dense foliage. It is planted in fragrant gardens and grown on trellis or over pergolas and on wire frames for screening. It is also used in containers or used for topiary. It establishes in 1 to 3 years but may become rampant requiring control. ID 502

This plant tolerates a hard prune to ground level to rejuvenate or lightly pruned to thicken up and produce large amounts of flowering stems.
