The epiphytic Hare's Foot fern has long creeping rhizomes that are covered in flesh coloured scales and forms a clump. It has glossy green broad triangular-shape divided fronds that are arranged horizontally that form a semi-pendant habit.

Hare's Foot Fern is grown for its foliage and creeping habit. It is commonly grown in hanging baskets or on decaying tree fern stems in rainforest settings or as a bushy house specimen.
