This shrub has upright pubescent woody branches that form a rounded spreading habit with no lignotuber. It has papery dark green elliptical leaves and the yellow-orange tube shaped flowers appear in clusters from early spring to early summer.

Grevillea pimeleoidesis naturally found in south-west Western Australia near Perth growing amongst trees or in sclerophyll scrubland.

It grows in well drained sandy-gravely loam or in clay that is moderately fertile and prefers an open sunny position but will tolerate some shade and is frost and drought tolerant.

This small Grevillea is grown for its bright flowers and low bushy habit. It is planted along garden borders in small native gardens as a specimen or used in rockeries. It is suitable for coastal regions establishing in 3-4 years and is moderately long lived. This shrub is also suitable for patio pots or roof gardens, requiring very well drained soils. In the humid eastern states of Australia grafted forms are available. ID 64
