This form differs from the species by having a longer lower calyx lobe and generally a larger flower.
Cultivar
'Alba'
This small prostrate shrub grows to 300 mm (1 ft) tall by 100 mm (4 in) wide with mid-green foliage. It produces white 2-lipped flowers profusely over the plant from spring to summer and prefers an open sunny position. It grows in well-drained sandy stony soils and is ideal for coastal paintings and grows in USDA zones 9-10.
