subsp.isaurica
This coniferous tree is similar to the species and grows at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,249 ft) appearing in mountainous southern Turkey. The oil from this tree has been traditionally used as a medicinal remedy for stomach aches and as antifungal or antibacterial lotion and for perfume.
Note:
Abies specieshave upright cones and the leaves fall from the branch cleanly.
