'De la Mina' Cedros Island Verbena
This compact mounded shrub grows to 1 m (3 ft) tall and wide with divided grey green foliage and produces faintly scented purple flowers that appear profusely over the plant during spring and intermittently throughout the year.

It is planted in small gardens along borders or as a container plant and attracts butterflies. It prefers a well-drained moderately fertile soil and will tolerate clay if not excessively watered.

'Paseo Rancho'
This perennial forms a compact mounded habit up to 1.2 m tall and wide with mid-green foliage. During spring it produces fragrant pink star-shaped flowers in dense clusters over the plant.

It grows on well-drained moderately fertile moist soils in an open sunny to semi-shaded position and attracts birds and butterflies. It is ideal for patio pots and planter boxes and can be used in roof gardens.
