Cultivars
'Album'
This rhizomatous perennial is similar to the species but differs in producing white flowers.

'Ballerina'
This perennial has a spreading habit and grows 250 mm (9µ) tall by 300 mm (1 ft) wide. It produces iced pink flowers with intricate dark maroon veins on the slightly ruffled petals, and has deep pink-maroon centre. It is commonly cultivated in small gardens or rockeries and grows in most well-drained moderatly fertile moist soils.

'Lizabeth'
This perennial grows to 200 mm (8 in) tall by 300 mm (1 ft) wide and produces delicate soft pink flowers with notched petals that have purple veins and a light green centre. The flowers appear from late spring and continue throughout summer and is commonly grown in rockeries or containers.

'Purple Pillow'
This perennial rose 250 mm (9µ) tall by 300 mm (1 ft) wide with blue green leaves and produces purple flowers throughout summer. It is an ideal place for a small rockery or used in patio pots and planter boxes.

'Splendens'
This is perennial grows to 250 mm (9µ) tall with a low spreading habit and produces magenta flowers that are dark striped to the centre. It prefers a semi-shaded to open sunny position and grows in most well-drained moderately fertile moist soils.This perennial is planted in rockeries or as a ground cover in small gardens.
