'Blazing Sunset'
Geum quellyonvar.flora plena
This semi evergreen perennial grows to 450 mm (18 in) tall with upright branched stems with dark green foliage that forms a clumping habit. During late spring produces double or semi-double vermilion half -ball-shaped flowers that re-bloom throughout summer to autumn.
It prefers a humus rich very well-drained moist soil in a semi-shaded to sunny position and grows best in USDA zones 5-7, disliking hot conditions.
'Dolly North'
This perennial grows to 700 mm (28 in) tall and wide with dark green foliage and forms a small clumping habit. From late spring to early summer it produces deep orange double flowers in open clusters above the foliage on a slender scape.
It prefers an open sunny position and grows in most well-drained fertile moist soils that a tending acidic. It is frost and mildly drought tolerant but dislikes wet winter soils. It is planted amongst other perennials along borders in small or large gardens.
'Fire Opal'
This perennial grows to 500 mm (20 in) wide by 600 mm (24 in) tall with dark green foliage and forms a clumping habit. During summer it produces semi-double orange red flowers in open clusters above the foliage on purplish stems. It is suitable for herbaceous borders and grows in an open sunny position on well-drained fertile moist sandy, chalky or clay loam soils that are neutral tending acidic.
'Princess Juliana'
This vigorous perennial grows to 600 mm (2 ft) tall and wide with dark green puckered foliage forming a clumping habit. During summer it produces single orange flowers in open clusters that are held above the foliage on wiry stems. It prefers a full sun to semi shade position and grows in most well-drained fertile moist soils that are tending acidic.
'Red Dragon'
This perennial grows to 500 mm (20 in)tall by 450 mm (18 in) wide with dark green foliage forming a mounded clump. From late spring to late summer it produces scarlet red to orange frilly double flowers in clusters above the foliage.
It prefers at the open sunny to partially shaded protected position and grows in most well-drained fertile moist sandy to clay loams. It is used in smaller cottage gardens and mass planted in bedding displays for parks and gardens.
