This evergreen shrub grows to 2 m (6 ft) tall by 4 m (12 ft) wide with dark green foliage forming a compact rounded habit. During late spring to early summer it produces large trusses of pure white pinkish funnelform flowers with yellowish anthers and is ideal for a border display. It prefers and a well-drained organic rich moist soil that is tending acidic and grows in a semi-shaded to protect sunny position in USDA zones 7-9.
