'Aldenhamensis'
This deciduous tree has a short brown trunk with upright spreading branches that form a vase habit up to 5.5 m (17 ft) tall by 4 m (12 ft) wide. It has purplish lanceolate leaves with serrated margins and produces pink buds that open to dark pink saucer-shaped flowers that appear in a cluster on a long pedestal during spring and followed by small red fruit. It is planted in small gardens along borders or used as a focal point specimen and grows in USDA zones 5-9.

'Eleyi' Eley Crabapple

This shrub has a moderate growth rate to 3.5 m (12 ft) tall by 3 m (10 ft) wide with upright spreading branches, forming a broad rounded crown. The foliage is a bronze-green when young maturing to purplish-green and the deep red buds open to pale reddish-pink flowers that are arranged in umbel, appearing during mid-spring.

They are followed by abundant purplish red fruit up to 25 mm (1 in) in diameter during autumn. It prefers an open sunny position and grows in well-drained fertile moist soils with pH 5-6.5. It is planted in small gardens along borders for spring colour or used in large patio pots or planter boxes and the fruit can be used to make crab apple jelly. It is susceptible to apple scab and leaf spots and grows in USDA zones 5-9.

'Henrietta Crosby'
This deciduous shrub has a short trunk with spreading branches that forms the rounded crown up to 10 m (30ft) tall with dark green foliage. During spring it produces pink buds that open to single pinkish saucer-shaped fragrant flowers. It grows in USDA zones 3-7 preferring a full sun to partly shade, wind protected position in moist sandy loams.

'Jade Red'
This small deciduous tree grows to 5 m (15 ft) tall with a weeping branches and bright green new foliage. During spring it produces large deep pink flower buds that open to white blooms that are suffused in pink, up to 35 mm (1? in) wide. They are followed by glossy red fruit up to 12 mm (½ in) in diameter and persist on the plant. It is susceptible to scab and powdery mildew and grows in USDA zones 4-8.

'Lemoinei' Red Flowering Crabapple
This small tree has a short trunk with spreading branches and attractive purplish red twigs forming a compact rounded crown up to 6 m (20 ft) tall and wide. The new reddish broadly-ovate leaves mature to bronze-green during summer and then turn yellowish during autumn, before falling.

The magenta pink flower buds open to violet pink saucer-shaped flowers appearing in clusters along the stems, during mid-spring and are followed by small dark purple-red persistent fruit. It prefers an open sunny position and grows on most well-drained fertile moist soils that are tending acidic. It flowers best after a long cold period during winter and grows in USDA zones 5-8.
