Cultivars
'Carol Mackie'
This slow-growing deciduous shrub has an upright bushy habit up to 1.2 m (4 ft) tall by 1.8 m (6 ft) wide with oblong greyish green leaves that are margined in creamy-yellow. It produces clusters of pale pink to white fragrant flowers during mid-spring and grows in a semi-shaded to full sun wind protected position. It prefers moist humus rich sandy soils with a neutral pH in USDA zones 5-9.

'Briggs Moonlight'
This semi evergreen shrub grows to 1.2 m (4 ft) tall and wide with lanceolate creamy-yellow leaves that have green margins and formed a compact rounded habit. It produces pink buds that open to fragrant white flowers in terminal clusters during mid-spring and grows in a partially shaded wind protected position. The shrub prefers humus rich well-drained fertile moist soils that a neutral tending alkaline in USDA zones 5-8.

'Somerset'
This semi evergreen shrub grows to 1 m (3 ft) tall and wide with spreading branched stems with deep green leathery leaves, forming a low rounded habit. It produces sweetly scented deep pink flowers with pale pink lobes that appear in clusters during winter. It prefers a protected sunny to partially shaded position and grows in cool moist but well-drained fertile soils.
