'Carmal Sur'
This vigorous shrub grows to 250 mm (10 in) tall by 2 m (6 ft) wide forming a compact prostrate habit with blue green foliage and produces light pink urn-shaped flowers.
It prefers an open sunny to partially shaded position and grows in most well-drained moderately fertile soils. This Manzanita is planted along front garden borders or used in rockeries and as a ground cover and attracts birds. USDA zone 8-10
'Danville'
This moderately fast growing shrub attains a height of 400 mm (16 in) by 2 m (6 ft) wide with a woody stems that are densely covered in deep green leaves that have a bronzy tinge when young. During winter it produces pink buds that open to white urn-shaped flowers that are followed by numerous red berry-like fruit.
It prefers an open sunny position and grows in moderately fertile well-drained sandy soils. This prostrate shrub is used as a ground cover and is planted in rockeries tolerating exposed positions. USDA zone 8-10
'Little Sur'
This moderately fast growing shrub attains a high of 300 mm (1 ft) tall by 2 m (6 ft) wide with glossy dark green foliage that lays flat along the slender stems forming a prostrate habit. From winter to spring it produces pink buds that open to white urn-shaped flowers that are followed in late summer by red berry like fruit.
It prefers an open sunny to exposed position and grows in most well-drained moderately fertile sandy soils. It is planted in parks and gardens as a ground cover on embankments. USDA zone 8-10
