Form
'Knobcone Point'
This smaller shrub differs from the species with grey-green foliage and light pink urn-shaped flowers that appear during winter followed by reddish new growth.
It grows to 2 m (6 ft) tall and wide forming a compact rounded habit and is ideal for small or water wise gardens. It is planted along borders or in large rockeries or may be used as a container specimen. It prefers an open sunny position and grows on most well drained, poor to moderately fertile sandy soils. The original plant was destroyed in road works, but the plant is now widely available nurseries.
