Cultivar
'Candy'     syn. 'Purpurea'     
This perennial has a slender purplish green stems up to 460 mm (18in) tall and wide forming a compact low-domed habit. It has light purplish-pink tinted leaves during summer and during spring it produces sulphur-yellow flowers and bracts.

They appear in clusters above the foliage with a stunning display of colour and the plant is suitable for cottage gardens or rockeries and as a container plant. It prefers the well-drained moderately fertile moist soil in an open sunny position and tolerates zone 7.
