'Doorenbos'
This medium sized tree has pale peeling white bark that reveals orange bark. Otherwise similar to the species.

var.occidentalis;
This form comes from the western Himalayas and has pure white peeling bark with warty shoots. The buds are covered in white resin.

'Grayswood Ghost'
This tree is similar to the species with very white bark and glossy foliage.


'Jermyns'
This vigorous tree is similar to the species, with pure white, peeling to copper brown bark and large catkins up to 170mm (6 in) long.

'Kashmir White'
This tree can grow to an altitude of approx. 3300m (10,000 ft) and has dark green foliage and snow white bark that is evident even on young plants.

'Silver Shadow'
This small to medium sized tree has bright white stems with peeling white bark on the trunk and produces large pendant dark green leaves.
