'Rocky Rambler'
This compact dwarf form is similar to the species and grows to 300 mm (1ft) tall and by 800 mm (44in) wide. It produces abundant red bottlebrush-like flowers that appear over the bush from late spring to early summer.

It grows in an open sunny to semi shaded position on the coast and inland and tolerates frost and most well drained moderately fertile moist soils. The shrub is planted in small gardens or rockeries and can be used in low border plantings.
