This herbaceous perennial grows to 250 mm (9ľ in) tall and up to 1 m (3 ft) wide forming a prostrate cushion-like habit. The foliage and flowers are similar to the species and the plant is naturally found from California to Nevada and extending to Wyoming in the USA. It is ideal small plant for a rockery or patio pots.
