Cultivars
'Asian Beauty'
This upright shrub is simular to the species but produces bright cherry-red fruit that persists on the plant into winter.

'Catskill'
This compact dwarf shrub to 2m (6ft) tall has spreading branches with small dark green leaves that turn yellow-orange to red during autumn. The creamy flowers appear with the new growth and the dark red fruit persists till mid-winter.

'Erie'
This spreading shrub grows to 3m (10ft) tall by 2.6m (8ft) wide with dark green leaves that turn yellow-orange to red during autumn. The flower heads are up to 150mm (6in) wide and the pinkish fruit is produced prolifically.

'Iroquois'
This shrub grows to 2.9m (9ft) tall by 4m (12ft) wide with a dens habit and has dark thick-textured green leaves. The creamy-white flowers are produced prolifically over the plant followed by dark scarlet coloured fruit that persists on the pant.

'Michael Dodge'
This shrub grows to 2m (6ft) and produces large yellow-reddish fruit; otherwise it is simular to the species.

'Oneida'
This shrub is up to 3m (10ft) tall and wide with spreading branches that have thin textured dark green leaves. The flowers appear predominantly in late spring and sporadically throughout summer followed by abundant glossy dark red fruit that persists on the plant till mid-winter.

'Vernon Morris'
This large upright shrub produces white to pale yellow fruit and is otherwise simular to the species.

'Xanthocarpum'
This upright shrub produces amber-yellow fruit otherwise it is simular to the species.
