This succulent perennial grows to 300 mm (1 ft) tall by 400 mm (16 in) wide with the grey green foliage that age is to maroon and produces masses of like pink vinyl shaped flowers from late winter to early spring. This sprawling plant is commonly grown in hanging baskets or pots or is it used in rockeries. It is drought and neglect tolerant and an easy plant to cultivate. It is suitable for USDA zones 9-11.
